We had the opportunity to participate at AIFW’s industry trade fair, providing the public an opportunity to meet and purchase from over 40 exhibitors of art, fashion, homewares, furniture and accessories from Indigenous designers around Australia… We were able to showcase our homeware line of beach and lifestyle products (the original pandanah beach blanket!), upholstery and licensed fabric ranges, along side our runway looks. It was inspiring to meet such talent from around the country, we look foreword to seeing what they bring in future…
What an inspiring and whole heartedly important event AIFW was, and is… Having made a big slash on April 11th, it is to be part of the official schedule for the Mercedez Benz Fashion Week Australia, 2015. We were humbled to be part of such an event, honouring and recognising the importance of indigenous art, design, craft (and their artisans) giving a new platform for some hidden talents across this amazing country.
We were blessed to have worked with Australia’s own legendary stylist Brana Wolf, alongside industry buffs Sophie Nixon, Krystal Perkins and Kannon Rajah… not to mention some of the countries most talented indigenous designers and models… Thank you, Prue Aja Steedman for the beautiful photos.
